May 7, 2019 - Wichita State graduate student Caleb Gimar is gaining amazing hands-on learning experience working on a research project with NASA.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

Oct. 25, 2018 -- Only seven months after announcing its collaboration agreement with Wichita State, Spirit AeroSystems has started plans to further expand in WSU's Partnership 2 (P2) building near 17th Street and Oliver.

Oct. 25, 2018 -- Experienced hotel developers announced their intention Thursday to build and operate a new 110-room Hyatt Place Hotel at 19th and Oliver on Wichita State University's expanding east side of campus.

Oct. 19, 2018 -- WSU students can get free tickets to all home men's and women's basketball games.

Oct. 17, 2018 -- Wichita State University's Shocker Rowing team will soon have a new home in the downtown River Vista development.

Sept. 27, 2018 -- After months of anticipation, Fuzzy's Taco Shop confirmed plans to open a restaurant in Braeburn Square, the new retail complex at Wichita State University. Next summer Fuzzy's will join Starbucks and the Shocker Store in the development near 21st and Oliver.

Wichita State alum Ty Tabing is a "place-maker" and, starting with Braeburn Square, he wants to use the university's academic and arts activities to invite people to campus.

Sept. 21, 2018 -- The WSU Board of Trustees met Friday, Sept. 21, and were given a report on the campus from John Tomblin, vice president of research and technology transfer.
